The Seatorch CO2 Scrubber is a high-performance aquarium pH stabilisation system designed to reduce excess carbon dioxide (CO₂) entering your reef tank. Constructed from durable high-quality PVC (not acrylic), it offers superior resistance to cracking, discolouration, and long-term saltwater exposure.
By removing CO₂ from the air intake of your protein skimmer, the Seatorch CO2 Scrubber helps raise and stabilise aquarium pH levels, creating a healthier environment for coral growth and marine life.
Easy Installation with Protein Skimmers
The Seatorch CO2 Scrubber is designed for simple integration with almost all protein skimmers:
- Connect the air intake of your skimmer to the scrubber outlet
- (Optional) Remove skimmer air silencer if required
- Fill the reactor with CO₂ adsorption media (sold separately)
- Secure the lid tightly and begin operation
- Monitor pH over the first few days for adjustment
As CO₂ media becomes exhausted, it will typically change colour, providing a clear visual indicator for replacement (usually every 2–4 weeks depending on usage and environment).
