Exquisite Goby Firefish are a beautifully coloured and elegant fish that adds a unique and vibrant presence to any aquarium. Known for their peaceful temperament and reef-safe nature, Exquisite Goby Firefish are a perfect choice for community tanks. It’s essential to provide an aquarium with a tight-fitting lid, as they are prone to jumping when startled. These Firefish need a diet of meaty foods, such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small pieces of fish or clam, fed at least twice daily to support their energy needs. They can grow up to 10cm and need a minimum tank size of 110 litres. Native to the Indian Ocean, Exquisite Goby Firefish inhabits deep sandy or rubble based outer reef slopes at depths of up to 70m.
