Fritz Coppersafe is a chelated copper treatment designed to combat external parasites in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It effectively targets Ich, Velvet, flukes, and anchor worms with a single dose that maintains therapeutic copper levels for up to one month—eliminating the need for repeated treatments. The stable formula won't stain your tank, and it's compatible with most aquarium products and equipment, including carbon filtration and UV sterilizers. Simply dose at 5 ml per 4 gallons to achieve optimal 2.0 ppm copper concentration. Ideal for quarantine tanks, though caution is advised with scaleless fish and copper-sensitive species. Critical: remove all invertebrates—corals, shrimp, snails, and crustaceans—before treatment, as Coppersafe is harmful to these organisms.
