Continuous Water Level Monitoring with Precision and Control

Overview

The LLS (Liquid Level Sensor) by Neptune Systems is a first-of-its-kind vertical water level sensor that provides real-time, continuous monitoring of liquid depth — not just whether a level has been reached. Designed for use with the Neptune FMM Module, the LLS helps aquarists track evaporation, dosing usage, and system stability with far greater accuracy than traditional float or optical sensors.

With Apex Fusion integration, users can visualise water level trends, receive alerts, and automate corrective actions, making the LLS a valuable addition to any ATO, dosing system, or sump monitoring setup.

LLS requires a Neptune Apex A2 or A3 Series system. Not compatible with Apex Classic (A1).

How It Works

Unlike traditional sensors that detect only whether water has reached a single point, the LLS measures the exact vertical depth of liquid at all times. This allows the Apex to:

  • Track evaporation patterns

  • Monitor dosing consumption over time

  • Trigger alerts if water is too high or too low

  • Automate top-off routines or shut off pumps

All readings are viewable in Apex Fusion as both live data and historical graphs, allowing you to easily monitor trends or detect abnormalities.

Compatibility

  • Apex A3 Series: Works with embedded FMM ports or an external FMM module

  • Apex A2 Series: Requires external FMM module

  • Not compatible with Apex Classic (A1 Series)

Available Sizes

  • 4" LLS Sensor – Ideal for shallow dosing containers or ATO reservoirs

  • 15" LLS Sensor – Suitable for medium-depth tanks and containers

  • 23" LLS Sensor – For larger reservoirs, AIO systems, or deeper sumps

  • 35" LLS Sensor – Designed for tall water storage containers or mixing stations
